Mum's the Word is an elegant minaudiére that is a must for every woman’s wardrobe.  This small evening bag is large enough to hold your keys, a credit card and a bit of lip gloss.  The chrysanthemum design is stitched in padded silk with either gold or striking on 24ct. black congress cloth, while the back is stitched in a coordinating metallic pattern.  Color choices will be offered including red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and lavender.  Instruction will also include creating a beaded handle that can be attached to the bag. 

The kit includes two canvases, the hard shell purse form, silk and metallic threads, seed beads, complete instructions, and photos.  The completed purse is approximately 5½” by 4”.  The student will need to supply 2 sets of 11” x 9” stretcher bars as well as light, magnification, and the usual stitching tools.
