We Three Kings are three stand-up figures that depict the journey of the Magi as they traveled to celebrate the birth of the Christ child. Each king is stitched as a separate stand alone figure with an array of silks, metals, and embellishments. The backgrounds of all of the pieces share common elements such as sand, sky, and silhouetted buildings on the horizon which serve to unite the triptych.

Finished designs range in size from 9"x 9" to 9"x 11". Threads used include Splendor Silks, Kreinik Metallics, Ribbon Floss, Pebbly Pearl, Overdyed Floss, English Metals, and an assortment of bead embellishments. Class instruction includes the discussion of alternate finishing solutions such as the creation of a framed screen

The student is asked to supply 3 sets stretcher bars: 11"x 14", 12"x 12", and 12"x 13". The kit includes all threads beads, and attachments as well as photographs of each completed canvas.
